Easter Inspiration

Hello everyone, and welcome back to another ScrappyDew Creations blog post.  I am thrilled that you took the time to visit today.

I have two little ones in the neighborhood that I like to spoil on holidays.  Usually it is a treat bag with goodies inside (the parents usually get some also).  This year I have a boy and a girl to make for.  We have one more little boy, but he is not arriving until Memorial Day.  I have made Easter tags for their goodie bags.  So here are the colors for this week:

~Boy and Girl Bunny 2015
~Recollections paper scraps
~KNK Zing electronic cutter
~Make The Cut Software
~Cracked Egg File from the MTC Gallery
~Lattice Egg File from the MTC Gallery
~Color Bok Mirrored Paper
~Very, very old Easter Greeting Stamp
~Pebbles Classic Chalk
~The usual tools that are too long to list

So first, I made the bunnies.  (i have to say, i miss figuring out how to put files together.  so be ready for lots more) Next came the egg and the lattice egg frame.  Nothing unusual came up.  Just a darned good file provided by ScrappyDew.  (did you know that their files come in a variety of formats?)  So lets take a look at what I came up with for Easter 2017.

The treat bags are a carrot and a chick.

Here is a closer look.

The little girls.

The little boys.

An uncluttered look.

I hope that this post gives you some ideas.  Holidays are to stressful.  So do something that you love and enjoy friends and family.  Have a great FAT Tuesday next week.  See you back here next Saturday.

Have your best week ever!  Bright Blessings,

Brand spanking new just for you!

Can you believe it.  Another brand new blog.  I am tickled pink that you are joining me for the grand viewing.  A little background might be nice.  Rhapsody on Paper is still going strong.  I was selected to join Crafty Gals Corner Challenges and for the weekly posts and I need to leave it up all week.  So where are my ScrappyDew creations going to have a home at?  What about all the other stuff I make?

My crafty friends, it was time to build a second blog.  I wanted a blog that was colorful and a really happy place.  So it might look a little childish, who cares.  If it brings a smile to you face, that is exactly what I wanted to achieve.  So look around, kick a button or two and make sure everything is working.  Leave me a comment here and like+comment on the NEW Facebook page; Have Colors Be Happy and I will pick someone to receive a little gift from me.  I'll use random.org and pick a number on March 1st.

Now on to this weeks ScrappyDew creation!

Oh look, here is another new button I made.
Just look under this sign for all
the details for my creation.

Now lets see how this works.  This week I have a brand spanking new file from ScrappyDew called St. Patricks Day 2017. Gang it's FREE.  Go grab it before it goes to the vault.  So here is my creation.

Well how did I do?  Do you like the format? To much/little information?  Let me know.  Remember we have a give-away going on.  So please leave a message here and give me a like and message on the new FB page Have Colors Be Happy.  I will use random.org to pick someone on March 1, 2017.

That's it for this week.  Next project may be a birthday card.  Not sure yet.

Have you best week ever, bright blessings,

Let's get this blog started!!

Hello and a very big welcome to my new blog.  Now Rhapsody on Paper hasn't gone any where.  But I need to leave a post up all week.  So this new blog is where I can share what I am up to.  ScrappyDew creations, my sewing adventures and sometimes even cooking.  Might even have a give away during the first week or two.  So please test drive the blog, kick a button or two.  Then leave me a comment.  You can also like my new facebook page.

Can't tell you how happy I am to have this new blog/fb page.  Hopefully I will be posting quite regularly.  First post is one for ScrappyDew.  Come back Saturday to see what I came up with.

Bright Blessings,
