Penny's Paper Crafty Challenge #531

Hey there, hi there and ho there you are welcome as can be to another blog post featuring Penny's Challenges!  Ready to have some paper crafty fun?  Let's get started with our sponsors for challenge #531.

Prize~$10 Store Voucher

Prize~3 digital images of the winners choice

Penny's Challenge has recently been blessed.  We have the greatest sponsors each and every year.
Please everyone go show some love and give each of them a thank you!

On to my creation.  I have used an image from Fred She Said called 'Christmas Ornaments 1'.  Here is what I came up with.

I have made a Christmas card.  I used some Christmas Red
card for the base.  Next I selected a piece of Graphic 45
that is from the 12 days of Christmas Collection.  (many
moons ago I purchased the entire set at Tuesday Morning)  I
used my Shuttle Art Alcohol Markers to color the ornaments.
I had the picture of the Christmas Tree in my stash.  I
attached the ornaments using gold small round brads.
Finally I added a fluffy white bow on the top.

The inside was put together using scraps from the file
cabinet. (i have a 3 drawer wood file cabinet that I store
paper in) Next I picked out a font from my SCAL 5 cutting
software and put the Merry Christmas on the inside paper.

I hope that you have liked what I have designed for my project.  Please visit Penny's Challenge
and take a look at all the other DT members projects.  They are Fabulous!

So for now, stay safe, stay healthy and know you are blessed!

Penny's Paper Crafty Challenge #530. Anything Goes using paper

Gosh, is it that time again?  Welcome to another Penny's Challenge.  We have some amazing sponsors for challenge #530.  Here they are!

Prize~Voucher for 3 sets

Prize~3 Digital Images of the winners choice

Last Minute Manda and Paper Nest Dolls are fantastic sponsors.  They both have a variety of images that are very well done graphics.  Go show some love gang!

My project is a digi from Paper Nest Dolls and called Witch Ellie riding broom.  Such a fun image to create with.  Here is what I came up with.

Isn't she adorable?  Here is the scoop.  I had left over paper
from a recent project that looked like the night sky.  I cut it
at 5.75 inches square.  Next I needed a star border. I found a
cut file and sized it down to fit the square.  Cut the stars in the
square and backed it with gold mirrored paper.  Elle herself
is colored with Prismacolor pencils.  I created a print and cut
file and used my electronic cutter to cut her out.  The actual
base of the card is a very dark royal blue from American Crafts.

Now and then I get a really great idea and it actually turns
out really nice.  If you have seen the original Disney movie
Hocus Pocus you will remember one of the witches hopping
on a vacuum cleaner because the brooms were gone.  So
The front said My Other Broom, inside says "is a Hoover".
I found a coloring page of a vacuum cleaner and scanned it
into SCAL5.  Traced it and made it a PNC.  After cutting
it out of card stock I paper pieced the vacuum in bright
green color and a scrap of G45.  I printed the word Hoover
and the top saying on vellum and glued them both in place.

More of the sky paper and a vellum printed Happy Halloween
are glue and used.

I colored this vacuum with Prismacolor Pencils and stamped
the little witch that says "Best Witches".

I am so happy with the way this turned out.  It is going to my girls for Halloween.  They will be so surprised.  That's it for this fornight.  See you in two weeks for another Penny's Challenge.

Stay Healthy, Stay Safe and know you are blessed!
