I just have to say thank you to these sponsors.  Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!

On to my project.  I have used an image from Sheep Ski Designs called Christmas Stocking. Here is my creation.

Here is my little bunny in bed with his stocking
hung on the bedpost.  I colored the flat sheet,
The cute little bunny & teddy, the sky &
window, walls and the baseboard.  The rest was
paper pieced using scraps.  The floor is a pic
from google of wood flooring.  The card is made
from brown card stock.  Paper Wishes made
the snowflake paper.  I added a Marc Jacobs
sticker and a snowflake brad from Joanns
dated 2011.  The ribbon is gold braid.

Here is the inside.  Yes it's crooked.  I got in a
rush.  I used my favorite Merry Christmas stamp
and gold embossing powder from Crafters
Companion.

Thank you for all the wonderful comments and deciding to follow me.  I hope that 2022 brings you the joy and happiness you deserve!

Penny's Paper Crafty Challenge # 510

Twas the night before Thanksgiving in the USA.  I've been cooking all day.  I needed a break and so I am popping on blogger to write my blog post for Penny's Challenge #510.  Of course, here are our sponsors for the 11-24-2021.

Crafty Sentiments Designs
Prize~3 Digi images of the winners choice

Patties Creations
Prize~3 Digi images of the winners choice

I LOVE both of these sponsors.  They both are so generous in supplying images for Penny's design team.  Please go show some love.  Their links are right below their logos.  Thank you friends!!!

On to my project.  I have used an image from Pattie's Creations called Snowman Song.  IMHO it's such a cute image and could be used for so many projects.  But I have decided to decorate one page of my December 2021 planner.  Here are the results...

Here is the finished page.  I started using a Happy
Planner about 6 years ago.  I now try to decorate
each page.

Here is the outside of the Happy Planner 2021.
I re-use the covers but I have made my own also.

Here is the main calendar page.

Here is the week of December 20, 2021.  I have
used the image Snowman Song as the focal
point for the week.

Close up of the little bird.  I used blue glitter for
his tail feathers and gold glitter on the music
notes. I have also used silver glitter on the snow
and green glitter on the scarf tassels.

The snowflakes I have had for years and the
Baby it's cold outside is from a set of Happy
Planner Holiday Stickers.

I wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving.  I hope you are able to be with family and/or the family you have made for yourself.

Be Safe, Stay Healthy and know you are Blessed!

Penny's Paper Crafty Challenge #208

Gosh it's the last few days of October.  Where has the year gone?  As I get older I swear the time just moves faster!  But one thing we can count on, a Challenge every fortnight from Penny's. But first let's see who our sponsor is...

Digi Doodle Studios

We have one sponsor for challenge #208.  This sponsor is a big one.  They offer the cutest images for the DT to use and always support the many various teams.  Thank you Digi Doodle Studios!

I am working with the image Elf Gift Surprise.  Such a fun one to create with.  Here is my inspiration.

Here is the envelope

The green and purple card is from American Crafts.
The purple striped and the lime green stripe are
from a Crafter's Companion kit called Contemporary
Christmas (2018).  The Elf Gift Surprise is colored
with Shuttle Art Alcohol Markers.  Holographic
snowflakes and flat backed Christmas bulbs are
items I picked up at a garage sale.

Purple card is American Crafts. The embellishments
are more of the Crafter's Companion Kit.

A CC banner and my sticker.

Here is your fortnight update.  Yes this is correct.
There are only 58 Days until Christmas.

All in all I think that this card is very nice.  I think a close friend will get this one.  See you in a fortnight!

Stay Safe, Stay Healthy and be very blessed!

Hetty Clare
Prize~2 Digital images of the winners

I love this time of year.  All/most of the sponsors have announced there newest collections.  As a designer for Penny's we're are able to receive a image that might be brand new.  So I give a huge thank you to the sponsors.  Thank you for all that you do.  Go show them some love gang!

Now on to my creation.  My image is from Hetty Clare called Christmouse Wishes.
Here is what I have created.

Bright red card from Paper House and Graphic 45
background from the 12 Days of Christmas Collection.
Blue paper is a scrap and the snowflakes are from
a punch that I found somewhere.  I colored Mr.
Christmouse with Prismacolor Pencils.

The inside is more G45 12 days of Christmas paper.
The 2 signs are from a Big DCWV Christmas/
Winter Stack from 2013.

Here is the back.  I should say that the little
pompoms are from a kit for children that was sold
by Joann's Fabric and Crafts.

That is my project for this challenge.  I will be back with another creation in a fortnight.

Penny's Challenge #506

Welcome to my blog.  What's new?  Around here it's down to the wire on decorating for Halloween.  My daughter's birthday is the first week of October.  I started a tradition way back of having her birthday party Halloween themed.  Well 40+ years later I keep this tradition alive.  Just need to wrap presents next.  So happy that I got ahead in my DT assignments.  Let's get the blog entry started.  Our sponsors for challenge #506 are...

Twinkle Land Designs
Prize~8 pound store voucher

The Paper Shelter
Prize~3 Digi images of the winners
choice.

These two sponsors are fabulous!  Always ready to sponsor design teams and the designs are really really nice.  Go show some love!  Now on to my project.

My image is from Twinkle Land designs and is
called Gingerbread Man Digi. This was a joy to
create with.  I found a coloring book image of a
cup and enlarged it using SCAL and my cutter. Cut
it out and I have a joint where is opens.  I used a
really pretty silver wrapping paper for the
background. If you look closely it has holographic
snowflakes. I coloredmy image using Prismacolor
Pencils. Cut it out.  I used spray adhesive and
stuck that puppy down.  Attached the spoon also.
I found a snowflake punch a while back.
Punched out green glitter and red mirror paper
snowflakesand using foam squares put
a pair in each corner!

Here I used a piece of DCWV 2013 Christmas-
Winter stack.  I attached 2 more snowflakes and
stamped a sentiment.  Below the card are jingle
bells.  If you are my age I would put them on my
shoelaces in jr. high and high school.

If I remember, it was last year when I started putting the days left before Christmas on the blog.  So here is the first of that tradition.

Thanks for visiting.  I love comments.  I'll be back in two weeks with another creation.

Stay healthy, stay safe and know you are blessed.

Penny's Challenge #505 "Always Anything Goes"

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog.  Have you ever just felt blah??? I don't know if I am coming down with something but I have NO desire to do anything but sleep and eat a little.  But I did complete my project for challenge #505.  First let's see who the sponsors are.

Sheepski Designs
Prize~3 Images of the winners choice

Cute As A Button
Prize~2 Images of the winners choice

I just love these two sponsors.  They both have wonderful and fun designs.  Go show some love my friends.

On to my creation.  I am using a image from Cute As A Button called Not a creature was stirring digital digi stamp.  This was a fun one to do.  Here are the details.

I printed out the image on my lazer printer.  I used
Prismacolor Pencils, Arteza Colored Pencils, a couple
of sharpies and I paper pieced the clock with white
glitter and the blanket with a pretty Christmas
themed scrap. Next I PNC the entire image using
my Silver Bullet 24" Pro cutter.  I printed the
title on heavy vellum using red ink.

I used that same heavy vellum for the Happy
Christmas. (that's fake snow on the surface &
boy what a pain to work with)

I know that you don't want to see this little sign.
Have you started your holiday routine yet?  I have
almost all my shopping done and just have to make
Christmas cards.  I will make sure to post them.  A
little word of advice, buy your items for your
Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner NOW.  I didn't last
year and I couldn't find some items.  They will be
just fine until the New Year.

So that is it for this Penny's challenge #505.  I hope that you are having a nice week.  I will see you again on Sept. 29, 2021.

Stay Safe, Stay Healthy and know you are very blessed.

Penny's Challenge #504

Hello everyone!  Happy September.  Fall is almost here (thank goodness)  I am a fall girl. I love the smell of fall and all the celebrations.  I even like the heavy fog in the mornings.  Ahhhhhh Fall I love you so!!!  Now on to this fortnights challenge.  Let's see who our fabulous sponsors are.

Leanns World 101
Prize~2 digital images of the winners choice

Paper Nest Dolls
Prize~3 digital images of the winners choice

Two of my favorite sponsors.  Love to design for them.  Clean images and just plain fun to color, what's not to like!  Go show some love everyone!

On to my project.  I am using a image from Leanns World 101 entitled 'Steve'.  Steve is a tourist on vacation.  In my imagination, Steve has traveled many places.  So here is my card featuring Steve.

Here is Steve in all his glory.  I colored Steve using
Prismacolored pencils.  I printed out a straw hat
texture and printed his hat on to it.  I fussy cut it
and then colored the hat band.  The location stamps
are from StampinUp (many moons ago).  I stamped
them using Ranger inks and put a brad through
each one.  Seafoam green card, circle paper are all
American Crafts.  The top paper is the lagoon in
Venice Italy and made by Paper House. The
'vacation' word is a sticker.

Now you can see the polkadot paper.  I tried to
use those colors for the card.  The globe and the
word 'explore' are stickers I had from a travel
themed layout I made.

Do you see the palm tree?  I just thought that
this was a cool looking piece of paper to use.

Back of card.

If you look closely, the address label is water.

I hope you like what I have made with 'Steve'.  I don't know where he ended up
visiting but my bet is Mexico because of the coconut he is drinking out of.

Thank you for visiting my blog today.  As always if you have any questions, just use the link.  See you again next fortnight.

Stay Safe, Stay Healthy and know that you are blessed!
