A Surprise Wine box with Simply Crafty SVG's

Welcome to my newest creation featuring designs from Simply Crafty SVG's.  I had a need for a box for a wine bottle.  The gift is not actually a wine bottle but a bottle of pumpkin spice flavoring.  I have used the Exploding Wine Bottle Box SVG file.  Here is what I have done.

First I made a shaker tag.  It says Happy
Anniversary 2020.  It is made from beige heavy
cardstock.  I also colored the scroll with Prisma
Color pencils.  The sparkle mix is from Hoffman
Originals and called Green Pesto.

I got this during a Tuesday Morning visit.  My
DIL loves anything pumpkin spice.

Here is the finished box.  Black ribbon plus the
shaker tag.  All papers are from Graphic 45 and
are double sided 12 x 12's.  This paper is from
Bohemian Bazaar and called Mystical Masterpiece.

A little better view of the completed box.

Off comes the lid and the sides fall apart.  This
is such a great file.

Here is the glamor shot!

So that's it for this month.  I will have another post on November 2, 2020.  Until then stay healthy, stay safe and I wish you the brightest of blessings.  Oh almost forgot, Happy Halloween if you celebrate.

October 5, 2020 with Simply Crafty Svg's

I have been making a set of card for my daughter-in-law.  She is a Veterinarian.  I just found out today that she brought home two new baby kitties.  So my daughter and DIL now have 4 dogs, 5 cats and 2 aquariums.  Oh they also have a ton of wildlife in their backyard.  Never a dull moment with this household.

Today I would like to share the dog version of the Dog Angel Sympathy Card.  My DIL loves being a Vet. but the one aspect she hates is when she has to euthanize an animal.  Doesn't matter what type it is, it comes with the profession.  So to make it a little more easy I have made cards for her to send to the furbabies parents.  So here is what I have made so far.

This is last months project.
  Cat Angel Sympathy Card.

This month I have made the canine
version of Dog Angel Sympathy Card.

Envelopes

The cards

I have used double sided tape to seal the envelope.

Side by side

I saved the cut out of the dog and one of the
clouds for the inside.  The pink matches to well.
I should have backed the dog with a dark paper.

This is much better.

Male cards

Female cards

Side by side

These two sets of cards are going to be an anniversary present.  10-5-2020 Is my daughter's birthday and their anniversary.  We will be celebrating this weekend with presents and maybe a cake.

Thank you so much for visiting.  Please stay healthy and safe.

Brightest blessings,

Penny's Challenge #481

Hey there!  Did you know that today in the USA is National Coffee Day?  I didn't.  But I thought you might like to know.  (useless info that might be a trivia question)  But more importantly it's time for a new challenge over at Penny's Challenge! And as always the challenge is 'anything goes'.  Let me introduce the sponsors for this challenge.

Prize~3 digital images of the winners choice

Prize~3 single images of the winners choice

Aren't these two fabulous as sponsors?  Click the link, head on over and please show some love.  You know the saying, 'Without the sponsors....'

My Image for Challenge #481 is from Sheep Ski Designs.  It is called Bryans Baby Image #87.  This is a wonderful image.  I have used it as a steampunk birthday card main element.  Here we go!

I made the Envelope and card base from American
Craft 12x12.

Background paper is Steampunk Spells, Clock
Works by G45. Mirrored paper by Colorboc. Buttons
and ribbon by Joanns.  Colored with Arteza and
Prismacolor pencils. Car image print/cut with Silver
Bullet Pro 24".

The inside background is more Clock Works by
G45.  The plaque is from the Frightful Folly in the
Steampunk Spells by G45.

This is the back.  Also from Frightful Folly by G45.

Now for the story behind the card.  The last 5 years have been very tough for our business called Bob Forrest Engine Rebuilders.  This is a automotive, marine and farm equipment machinist shop.  We fix the actual parts that come out of an engine.  We have been trying to catch up after the last employee decided to quit because of money.  (not enough)  BUT...we have one employee who is the one that just may take over one day.  I can't sing Mikeys praises any higher.  He is apprenticing under Bob and the public loves and respects him.  Nice breath of fresh air.

So this is his birthday card.  It's in November and I already have his present.  So now you know the rest of the story.

I will see you in another two weeks for another time to share my creation.  Everyone stay safe, stay healthy and know I am sending bright blessings to all.

Much Love,

Penny's Challenge #480 'Anything Goes'

Hello and welcome.  I hope all is well and safe wherever you might be.  I live in the United States of America.  I live in the state of Oregon which is on the west coast of the county.  The past 10 days we have been living with wildfires.  At present in Oregon alone, we have 16 fires burning.  Several communities have disappeared.  Here are a couple of pictures.

Satellite Image of Oregon taken 4
days ago.  The smoke is still here.

This is Phoenix Oregon, or what is left
of it.

Please pray for all the fire crews and residents still threatened by fire. Though evacuations have been reduced the clean up hasn't even begun.  Rain is due starting Thursday night.

Ok enough about the fires, lets get our craft on!!!

But of course let me tell you who our amazing sponsors are:

Prize~2 Digital images of the winners choice

These 2 sponsors are new to me.  I love the images and they print beautifully.  Give them some love over on Facebook.

I have to warn you that my post is heavy with pictures.  So here we go.

I printed my image, Message in a bottle
from Patties Creations

I printed the image with the registration
marks so I could do a print-n-cut.

This is my Silver Bullet Cutter.

And here is the final result.  So much better than
fussy cutting.

I need to build up my image so it will become a
shaker tag.  I had saved the cardboard dividers
from my kitties cat food box.

I made a shadow around the bottle.  Next I made
another shadow but this one was an interior one.
Using SCAL5 software, I did a union but separated
one shadow from the other.

I decided that 4 layers would give me enough
clearance for the shakers.

I almost forgot to put some type of hanger on the
tag.  A green paper clip fit the bill.

I made a backing for the bottle.  The tweezers
are needle nosed and I use them all the time.

This is what I use for the top to contain the beads.

I lightly colored the bottle and put in 1/2 teaspoon
of a green medley of pretty beads.  Made a topper
outline and the tag is done.

Glamor shot!

I found this at a large discount store called
Tuesday Morning.  My DIL loves Pumpkin Spice.

The Pumpkin Spice Flavoring needed a box.
Simply Crafty's SVGs Exploding Wine Box to the
rescue!

Box with tag

Box open.  Isn't this fun?

This is part of a 12th Anniversary/Birthday for my daughter and her wife.  Gosh has it really been 12 years?  Time is sure flying by.  Thank you so much for taking the time to visit.  It really does mean a lot to me.

Brightest Blessings.  Stay safe and healthy!
