Penny's Challenge #543 Anything Goes Using Paper

Hey there everyone!  So nice to see you again.  I have a new inspiration creation for challenge #543.  First we have to see who our sponsors are.  Here we go!

Prize~2 Single images of the winners choice

Prize~2 Digi images of the winners choice

I love both of these sponsors.  They each have crisp and clean images that are a joy to work with.  Go show some love and maybe say a big thank you!

My creation this fortnight is from Dr. Digi's House of stamps  and the title is Montgomery J. Mole esq.  Here is what I have created.

If you are 40+, you may remember a Bugs Bunny cartoon where Bugs is tunneling his way to Pismo Beach.  He uses the phrase I have used for my card.  Here it is.

The red and orange card stock are Recollections.  The beach
paper is from a paper pad that I picked up at, of course, a thrift
store.  I colored Mr. Mole using my Arteza Pro colored pencils.
The saying is a print and cut using my Silver Bullet cutter.

Inside I have used more of the beach paper.  The saying just
fits.  I am sending this to someone that needs to be cheered up!

And lastly the envelope with my sticker and initial.

That's it for this edition of Penny's Challenge.  I sure hope you can come over and play along.

Penny's Challenge #542 Anything Goes Using Paper

Hello and welcome to another edition of my blog.  I have a question.  If I made a paper sculpture, would it be considered a paper project?  I'll have to ask the admin's.  Just wondering.  So on to our challenge.  But first let's see who our fabulous sponsors are:

Mirtillamente Digital Stamps and Papers

Wow what great sponsors.  I've worked with Patties Creations for quite a now.  Mirtillamete Digital Stamps and Papers is fairly new to me.  Both sponsors have glorious images and I am sure you can find just what you are seeking.  Go say thank you and show each some love.

On to my creation.  My image is from Mirtillamente and is called Winter Wolf.  This is what I have created.
Let's start with the envelope.  I recently purchased a new
die that is supposed to be wolves.  I think it looks like dogs.
What do you think?

First I searched for an image of the night time sky.  I printed
it out.  Next I cut out a white circle and colored it using my
Prismacolor Pencils.  I used two of the cool greys.  I think
I got it to look like a moon with craters.  The wolf is also
colored with my pencils.  Finally I thought this would
make a great title for my card.

The inside has the same background.  But the wolf is colored
in brown and the moon is a cresent.

I finished off the card by putting my sticker on and my initial.

My friend who I am sending it to had a passing of a family member so I am not going to mail her this card for a while.  I will also enclose the die that I made the wolves for the envelope.  I think she will like it.

That's it for this fortnight.  I'll be back in 2 weeks with another new challenge.  But until then...

Stay Healthy, Stay Safe and know you are blessed.

Penny's Challenge #541 Anything goes

Hello everyone!  Well we have had a week of exciting weather.  Where I live we don't get snow very often.  We have a weather anomaly about 25 miles away that either the yucky (scientific term) weather will be south or north of.  The north area got slammed.  1-4 inches of snow turned into 10-12 inches and even more in the hills.  What did my neck of the woods get???  Nothing.  It's at least fun to watch it come down as long as it melts fast.  Oh well.  We had a dusting this morning and woke up to white for about 15 minutes.  At least the cold temperatures are over for a while.  Hey at least this new challenge brought to you by Penny's is nice and sunny!  Here are the sponsors.

I am on 3 design teams.  On each team I have been lucky enough to have fabulous sponsors since the first of the year.  These are two of my favorites.  Do me a favor?  Go show some love and also say thank you for sponsoring.

On to my creation.  I am using a image from Colour of Love called Maiara Indian Maiden.  Here is what I have dreamed up.

The card for the base is tan Paper House.  Green and white
layers are Recollections.  The fir tree layer is from a set of
background papers I got at a thrift sale.  The maiden is colored
with Prismacolor Pencils.  The feather is Quail.  Gems out of
my stash.

I found this poem online.  It is actually an Indian blessing.  I
thought it suited my creation.

The back and my initial.

I had made this for a dear friend that lives overseas.  I just sure hope it gets to her quickly.

Thank you so much for visiting.  I will be back in a fortnight with another project.
