Penny's Paper Crafty Challenge #518

I am a planner girl.  Since I was 17, I have had some sort of planner.  Then in the early 80's I received an actual binder planner.  The company even sent new yearly inserts.  Well I have evolved.

I have a Happy Planner, regular size (but I have had the really big one also) the whole punch and the punch to cover daily rectangles.  This is what my project for this challenge is all about.  My birthday month is coming up shortly and I have decorated with the image I picked out back in December.  So let's get this blog installment started.  Here are our sponsors!

Prize~$10 Store Voucher

Prize~3 Digi Images of The Winners Choice

I know I say this every time but these sponsors are the best.  Go show some love gang!  The links are below each image.  Thanks everyone!

On to my project.  I have used a image from Fred She Said called Daisy Cupcake.

BIG CAUTION!  The post is extremely picture heavy.  Please let the page load fully so you can see how I put this thing together.

Here is the finished product.  I have colored each
cupcake with Prismacolor Pencils and Shuttle Art
Alcohol Markers.

I had my Silver Bullet Cutter do a print and cut
on the cupcakes.  I have a Brother Label Maker
that has a clear tape cartridge.  I have
a cupcake for each birthday in the month of May.
These are put on the main calendar spread.

All of the tools and parts and pieces.

Each month section has 6-7 pages.  I picked out
some Washi Tape for each 2-page spread for
added strength.  Here is the May cover.  (i had
been saving this tape for a long time to use just
for this project)

This is the official Happy Planner notch/hole
punch.  I was in St. Vinnies thrift store one trip
looking around and low and behold I found this in
the office supplies for $2.99.  They also had paper
such as notes, reminders and even a meal planner
set. Each priced $.99.  I was ecstatic!!!!!

I did not like the cover of the new 18 month
planner.  Since I will look at it, I had to make
something better.  I have 8.5 x 11.0 Washi Tape
sticker sheets.  The top is the washi tape front.
The lower is from a set of uplifting wall art I
found somewhere.  I stuck them together and
laminated them.  Punched for the rings and I
have a very snazzy cover! I cut the word May
from a set of dies from Amazon.

Each month of my planner has a theme.  What
goes with cupcakes?  I thought a tea party.  So I
found a teapot coloring page and traced it into
Scal 5.  Print and cut 62 teapots.  Printed clear
numbers and made the calendar dates.

Here is the finished calendar page spread.  There
is lots more to my planner but I don't want it on
the internet.

So that is it for this project.  I had a wonderful time making it.  Personal crafting time is precious, so everyone enjoy it!! So until next time,

Stay Healthy, Stay Safe and know you are blessed.

Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge # 517

Hello!  It's time for another wonderful challenge over at Penny's Challenges.  I have a short but sweet project to share with you this post.  First off, let's see who the sponsors are for challenge #517.

Prize~3 Digital images of the winners choice

Prize~2 Digital images of the winners choice

Such wonderful sponsors for this challenge.  Go take a look around each one.  The images are wonderful and perfect for whatever subject/situation you need!  Go show some love gang!

On to my project.  This is actually the envelope for a project that I made for another design team.  I will show the card at the last of this post.  I have designed with Snail Mail from Pattie's Creations.  This was a fun one!

The red card is from AC Crafts and the
paper for the address is very old
Valentines Day scrap.  Colored with
Prismacolor Pencils.  Paper pieced the
snail's shell with white with red dots.

I found a envelope liner stencil made by Paper
Wishes a while back.  I used the yellow paper from
the inside of the get well card I made for my
SIL.

Here is the back.  I even decorated it!
I figure anything to bring a smile to her
face is well worth it!

Now, I don't know if I have shared recently that I actually have two blogs.  This one and Rhapsody On Paper.  It's the oldest blog and has a lot of projects on it.  That is where the card was published that the envelope goes with.

The image is from Beccy's Place and is part of the
Big Wishes Set.  So now everything is together!

Well that's it for this edition of Penny's Paper Crafty Challenge.  I hope that you get the chance to play along.  Can't wait to see what you create!

Bright blessings, Stay safe and healthy!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge #516

Hello everyone!  How's everybody doing?  It seems like I am just waking up after a long winter's nap.  I live in Oregon.  What does it do in Oregon in the winter?   Rain/snow from end of October until the end of January for snow and end of June for the rain.  Summer starts on July 5, 2022 this year.  But what gets us Oregonians down isn't the rain/snow.  It is the dark and gloomy day after day with some sunshine thrown in.  So with the weather getting better so is my crafting.  But before I show you my new creation here are our sponsors.

Prize~8 Pound store voucher

Another set of fabulous sponsors.  Go show some love everyone!

Trouble comes in 3's.  Before Christmas my dishwasher decided to die.  January the dryer died.  Last friday my hard drive on my windows computer died.  So Bob and I fixed the dryer and the dishwasher.  This friday my new computer will arrive.  But I lost everything on the hard drive.  Thank goodness for backup drives.  But I managed to save some pics for my new creation.

My image is from Stampers Delights and is titled Chibi Tumnus Fawn.  This is what I came up with.

It's never too early to start my Christmas cards.
I colored him with Prismacolor Pencils and a white
gel marker added accents.  I used my cloud dies
and a rounded stitched rectangle die for the
sentiment.  I used my Silver Bullet cutter to finish
the print and cut.

The inside has dark blue and blue and white speckled
papers.  I gold embossed on vellum Merry Christmas.

Maybe you can see it better close up.

Well that's it for this project.  Now I need to go catch my Have Colors, Be Happy facebook page.  I am so far behind.  I will get it done.

So please stay safe, stay healthy and know you are very blessed!
