Penny's Challenge #579 Anything goes

 Hello!  First I have to tell you about a big hurdle I accomplished this week.  I have cathedral ceiling of 18 feet in the front of the house.  I also have a chandelier.  Both were filthy dirty.  The ceiling had a massive amount of cobwebs and I had never cleaned the light because of being afraid of heights.  I tackled them both!!! I got on the 4th step of the ladder and scrubbed the light and I have an extension pole that I attached a cobweb tool and swatted them down.  I am pretty proud of myself.  What is something you have accomplished this week?   Hope to hear from you to cheer you on!  On to the challenge.  Here are the sponsors.

On to my project.  I have an image from Dr. Digi's called 'Gnome Improvements'.  Here is my finished creation.

The card base is royal blue Recollections.  The gnome was 
colored using my Arteza Colored Pencils.  The bucket and 
table also colored pencil.  The rest of the scene is paper
pieced.  Ever heard of polka dot paint?  Here you have it.
Some snowflakes wallpaper is included.  Christmas presents
and some kitty cats round out the project Mr. Gnome is
completing.  Beige/Tan Recollections envelope is included.

The inside. I stamped and embossed a scrap of paper
and created the greeting.

Penny's Paper Crafty Challenge #578 Anything Goes using Paper.

 Hello everyone!  Welcome to August.  Can you believe how fast the year is going?  Seems the older I get the faster the years go by.  I do wish there were more hours in the day.  I could accomplish so much more!  Here are the sponsors for this fortnights challenge.

My project uses an image from Alex Syberia Designs and it titled Pretty Winter Bouquet.  Here is what I came up with.

If you look closely, The bow paper is white but it also has gold
dots.  So for the bow I fuzzy cut one out and then embossed the
edges using gold powder from Crafters Companion.  Using 
almost every pencil, marker and pastel chalk that I own, I colored 
this bouquet.  The red berries are marker.  Added bling by using
some gold ribbon and gold embossing on the Merry Christmas.

Some very old Christmas paper from one of my DCWV old
books (winter and Christmas combined) as the background
paper.  Some brown card stock with the stamp I Believe 
embossed in gold to finish off the inside.

The official logo and initial and this Christmas card is Finished.
