Hello everyone! As I sit here in front of my computer writing this blog installment, outside is rainy, really windy and the perfect weather for an Oregonian, USA. I truly love gray and wet days. There is a saying about Oregonians; you know it raining when an Oregonian uses an umbrella. (hahaha! Usually just boots and hoodies). I have an adorable story and card for this challenge at Penny's. Here we go! This image was pretty complex to create with. But for the first time, I wrote a story to go along with the card. My image is from Dr. Digi's House of Stamps and is titled The Stump and Spigot.
I actually stepped outside my comfort zone. Here we go!

| I used my Prismacolor Pencils, Arteza Pencils, Shuttle Art Alcohol Markers and paper piecing for this image. I also used a brown and blue embossed papers I have had forever. Then I using a grass metal die in two sizes for background. To add dimension I used pop dots. The card is dark brown and does not show up really well on a black background. Sorry. |
