Penny's Challenge #239 Anything Goes Using Paper

Hello Hello so happy your can join me.  Boy here in Oregon USA we are in a cold snap.  It has been getting down to 23-26 F for the past two nights.  The weather will be changing quickly.  When the air pressure rises, I get nose bleeds.  Had one today so just rain for us ahead.  I've had plenty of time to craft but I need to show you who our sponsors are first...

Such a wonderful set of sponsors.  Each have unique images that are very nice.  Please go and show some love and say a quick thank you for sponsoring.

My Image is provided by My Besties and is called LAND OF THE FABLERS ~ FABLER FISH RIDE YUMPY~FURPLE IMAGE~ BY SHERRI BALDY. (say that 5 times fast). So here is how I have used this image.

Many years ago, I was on a DT called Scrappy Dew.  I
collected a lot of sets of SVG files.  All the little sea creatures
are from a set called Under the Sea Palz 2.  So I made a few and
used them for my undersea themed card.  I colored this image
using my Arteza Pro Colored Pencils.  The background paper
is crinkled foil that is years old.  Brown Neenah for the bottom
of the sea.  I put my little sealife and seaweed.  Computer
generated caption.

Here is a closeup of the right side sealife.  See the tiny eyes on
the clam shell?

The left side and the computer generated caption.

This is the inside.  The green animal is a seahorse that got
into some radioactive sludge.  My octopus is just a cutie.

The back with my logo and my inital to signify it's a Jana
Original.

I had a lot of fun and a lot of memories come up making this card.  Here is the link for ScrappyDew.  The file is towards the bottom.  Look around a bit.  I am sure you will find something you will want to create!

So that's it for this fortnight.  I will see you in two weeks with another Jana creation.

Stay Safe, Stay Healthy and know you are very blessed.

Penny's Challenge #538 Anything Goes Using Paper

Hello everyone!  How's the new year going?  I am getting in the swing of creating projects again after the Christmas break.  I can't wait to show off my creation today.  But first, let's see who our sponsors are.

Prize~2 Digi images of the winners choice

Prize~3 digital images of the winners choice

Can I say I just love these two sponsors?  They are some of the cream of the crop.  Please go and leave some love and maybe a thank you!

My project is using a Paper Nest Doll called Story Time Emma.  Here is my creation.

I love this image.  It reminds me of my daughter when she
was a little one.  We would visit the Library and I would find
her in the stacks reading a book when I was ready to check
out.  Great Memory.  I die cut the card base with a generic die.
Next was the black card.  I colored Emma and her kitty with
Prismacolored Pencils.  I paper pieced all the books and gave
them each titles.  The saying I printed on vellum and used
spray adhesive to stick it on.

The inside.  The bookcase again and the black is a scrap I
found.  Vellum for the saying again.

Here is the back with my label and initial.

This is my project for this fortnight.  I will see you in 2 weeks for another project.

So Stay Safe, Stay Healthy and know you are blessed.

Penny's Challenge #536 Anything Goes Using Paper

Hello and welcome to my blog.  I hope that you have a marvelous holiday season.  Mine was just right!  My girls came to visit and none of us was up to cooking (winter weather sure takes a toll in our homes).  So we opened gifts, split the food and that was Christmas.  New Years Eve I watched the ball drop from Times Square on CNN at 9:00pm my time.  Then got back to crafting.  The holidays were just what I asked for.  Let's get 2023 started with Penny's Challenge.  Here are our sponsor(s).

Prize~3 Digital images of the winners choice

What a way to start the year off right!  These 2 sponsors are simply amazing.  What a joy to create with.  Go show some love everyone!!!

I am using an image from Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps called It's October.  Let me show you what I created.

Isn't she pretty?  I used a sketch online to create the back-
ground.  The papers are all scraps.  I colored her using Prisma-
Color Pencils and Arteza Colored Pencils.  The sentiment is
one I created.
Many years ago I bought a punch system from Marvy.  This
is one of the cartridges.  I kept the scrap in my embellishments
box.  I put it to good use.

This is my logo and my inital.

That's it for this fortnight.  Thank you for coming along.  I'll see you in 2 weeks for another fabulous challenge from Penny's!

Love to all,
