Penny's Challenge #546 Always Anything Goes using paper

Welcome back!!!  I have a great project to share with you.  But 1st let me tell you about what my girls did for my birthday today.  I got MOM-KNAPPED!!!  They took me on an adventure to the coast.  They are rock/shell seekers.  They just happen to know about some great places to find them.  So off to the first beach.  It was full of fossilized clams and shells and agates galore!!!  We went to two other beaches but not much luck.  Next we went to the bay front for dinner.  I thought we were under-dressed because it was a swanky place.  But everyone else was just dressed like us.  Daughter said that beach combing attire was acceptable.  Gang I have to tell you I have never ate food this delicious.  Presentation was out of this world.  Then the wait staff and the entire place sang me happy birthday.  The day was a very special one that I won't forget anytime soon.

Alright this get this show on the road.  Let's see who our sponsors are for challenge #546.

Prize~~3 Digital images of the winners choice

What great sponsors for this challenge.  I've said it before, and I will say it again.  Both of these sponsors are fantastic.  They both provide clean crisp and very traceable (for pnc) images.  Please go forth and show both of them some love.  They deserve it!

Now on to my project for this fortnight.  Over at Penny's Challenge central, the DT's are to pick an image that has not been selected for their creation.  I was given Bunny Ears #272.  I got the image and it was a cactus.  Hey this isn't bunny ears.  Did you know that this cactus is called a bunny ear cactus.  Not kidding.  Learn something new every day!  Here is a picture of one.  There are many different types.

On to my project.  I needed a birthday card for a male friend.  What better image to color than this cactus.  Here is my project.
This was a neat one to color.  I did my research.
Then got to coloring.  I used my Prismacolor
Pencils and my Prang pencils.  The card stock is
from Paper House (solid colors).  The orange
flowered paper was die cut using a background die
from KS Kraft.  I printed out the sentiment and
cut it out with my Tonic needle tipped scissors.

I couldn't think up something snazzy to put on the
inside.  So I just wrote what I felt.

So that's it for this creation.  I'll be back in 2 weeks with more inspiration.  I almost forgot.
Happy Mother's Day!  So from my heart,

Stay Healthy, Stay Safe and know you are blessed!

Penny's Challenge # 545

It's time for another 'anything goes using paper' challenge over at Penny's.  This coming summer I have a couple of baby presents to buy and ship.  So I just had to create with a design by Patti over at Patties Creations.  Let's take a look at who our sponsors are:

Prize~~2 Digital images of the winners choice

Prize~~3 Digital images of the winners choice

Wow these two companies are fantastic.  Crisp and clean images that can be used in print and cut instantly.  Go show some love and maybe say thank you.  I know you have heard it before but, without our sponsors there would be no challenges.  (just saying)

So on to my baby cards.  I chose to work with images from Pattie's Creations.  Baby Shoe Set is the name of the design.  Here is what I have made.

I have colored the little boy shoes using my Prismacolor
Pencils.  Drug out a scrapbook set of stickers for a little boy
project and put on right below the shoes.  Made some photo
corners out of scraps.  The card itself is made with cardstock
from Joanns and the envelope is from a DCWV Stack called
Twinkle Twinkle.

Here is the inside.  Baby blue designer paper with a tiny
envelope with the card out that says It's A Boy!

My DT Admin was nice enough to send along the little girl
baby shoes.  So I colored them up using my Prismacolor
Pencils.  Grabbed some scraps and put the card together.
The sticker and corners are from a little girl scrapbook kit.
The flower gems are from Joanns.

Here is the inside.  I think that you can make out the saying.

So that's it for this challenge.  Now the next challenge will be in two weeks.  I sure hope you can play along.

So for now Stay Safe, Stay Healthy and know you are blessed!

Penny's Challenge #544 Anything Goes Using Paper

Well, hey there.  Welcome to my little space in the blog-o-verse.  Hope that your Easter (or weekend) was great.  We didn't have a celebration.  Bob's been under the weather.  So I made him his favorite, Mac and Cheese.  We had nummy ice cream for desert.  Which brings us to Penny's Challenge for 4-12-2023.  Here are the sponsors.

Prize ~ 3 digital images of the winners choice

Prize ~ $6 store voucher

Super duper sponsors!  Jan's Digi Stamps is fairly new to me.  Paper Nest Dolls I have created with many times before.  Love working with them both.  Go on over at leave some love and maybe say a thank you to both!

My creation uses an image from Jan's Digi Stamps and is called Lovin Lily of the Valley.  I hope you enjoy card.

This image was a joy to color.  I used a variety of Prismacolor
Pencils.  I tried some blending on the roses and I think I did
ok.  The light brown card stock is from a big stack of Paper
Accents.  The two diamond shapes are from Penny Duncan
designs.  The paper is from a stack purchased at St. Vinny's.

The inside is the same stack as used on the front.  Just turned
differently.  This was a sympathy card.

The back and my initial.

Well that's it for this fortnight.  I will be back in 2 weeks with another creation.  But until then,

Stay Healthy, Stay Safe and know you are blessed!
