 Hello all!  Time for another Penny's Paper Crafty Challenge #495.  As always this challenge is anything paper.  Let's see who our sponsors are.

For this challenge I have used an image from Pattie's Creations called Glamour Girl. This card is a commission for a friend attending a Quinceanera.  This is a celebration of a 15th birthday for a girl of spanish descent.  First part is a ceremony at church and then a great big party at a local hall.  It is a huge celebration and I thought that 'Glamour Girl' fit the bill.  Here is the card...

Here is the front.  I colored the girl with Prisma
color pencils.  The paper is from a very old book 
by ColorBok from 2010.  I next made a blue glitter
heart and cut out the number 15.

The inside is from that same ColorBok book.
Next I made sure I got the phrase right and printed
it on the paper for the inside.

This is the back.  The actual card is white and 
blue variegated and is from American Crafts.

I made the envelope from American Crafts card
and then lined the envelope with the leftover
paper from the inside.

All in all I am very happy with how this turned out.  My customer loved it.  So success!

Now next fortnight I will have a project that is NOT a card.  I like to change up what I make.  Wait, wait, wait, to all the ladies out there in the blog world, Happy Mother's Day!  So until next time,

Penny's Challenge #494

 Well did everyone have a wonderful Easter?  Bob and myself have not been vaccinated yet so we and my girls decided to hold a get together later.  Maybe decorate for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Valentines and Easter and throw a big shindig for the neighborhood.  Wouldn't that be fun!  So let me get this show on the road.  Here are our sponsors for challenge #494.

On to my creation for this fortnights challenge.  Of Course all of the challenges at Penny's are Any Thing Goes (ATG).  I was lucky enough to work with a image from All dressed Up.  My image is called New Hair Do.  This is my card.

I printed the image on beige card and colored with
a new set of Prang colored pencils.  I had an old set 
that got to the point of being well loved.  The new 
pencils are just as nice.  The image was cut using
 another new stitched die and the edges
 are chalked in pink. The left side green
netting corner is from a new die and has
pink pearl accents.
  The paper is by Karen Foster Designs Inc. and is
dated 4-3-2013.  Found at Tuesday Morning.  
I found the quote online and typed and printed
it on vellum.

This is the inside.  You can see the paper
much better.  I don't what I will
be using the card for, so no sentiment yet.

The card base is a light pink and slightly embossed.
