Hello from a very cold and icy Oregon, USA. The high temp today was 17 degrees with about 3/4 of an inch of ice on everything. Freezing rainstorm hit early Saturday morning. On to my project. This project actually took about 2 weeks to put together. My image is from Ching-Chou Kuik and is titled Harmony. Here we go...

| This image came grayscale. I added the color. Some areas I left grey. I think I used every set of pencils, markers and some watercolor on this. Lets just say I used anything I thought was crafty. I printed the image on a very light weight watercolor paper. I had thought that I would watercolor the entire image. Ended up just doing the big leaves the parrot is sitting on. All the rest is either Bic, Sharpie or Shuttle art markers. I used Prismacolor, Arteza and Castle Art Oil based colored pencil sets. The parrot is a Scarlet Macaw. I tried to color it was close as possible to an actual parrot. The other images are colored according to my imagination! Found the sentiment looking around Bing under parott cards. |

| The base is a beautiful tissue paper I got for Christmas. I used a die to cut out the happy birthday sentiment. This will be going to my Daughter-in-law (shhhhhh she doesn't know) |
