Penny's Challenge #575 Anything Goes with paper!

Hello everyone!  Happy Canada Day and Happy Independence Day.  Great celebrations going on all across North America.  Food, fun and of course fireworks.  In my area, it usually sounds like world war 3.  It started Saturday and will probably continue sporadically until New Years Eve!  Like an M80 every once in a while.  So I have all the animals scheduled to be inside for the night.  For now though it's time for the sponsors.

What wonderful sponsors.  Each offers a different style of digital stamps for any occasion.  Please go leave some love and maybe a thank you!

On to my project.  I had never made an edge card.  So edges it is and I made a belly band to keep it closed.  My Image is from All Dressed Up.  The name of the stamp is Little Flower Girl.  Here we go!

Here is what the card looks like with the belly band to keep it
closed.  Love the purple and pink theme.

I carried on the purple and pink theme when coloring this
adorable image.  I have used my Prismacolor Pencils this time.
I wanted to lay down a lot of color and the PC pencils do
just that.  I used a piece of Pretty Posies DCWV Book that I
have had since 2013 for the background paper.  Matched
perfectly!

This is what the back looks like.  I love how this turned out.
It's going to a very special friend!

I'll be back in a fortnight with another project.  Hope this inspires you to came and play along!

So from my heart to yours, Stay Healthy, Stay Safe and know you are blessed.

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY EVERYONE!

Penny's Challenge #574 Anything Goes

Sometimes you create a project/card that you just don't want to use or give away.  This project is one of those.  So happy with the way it turned out.  Come along and see.  First though the sponsors.

Two very generous sponsors.  Love to work with each of them.  Please go show some love and leave a thank you also!

My project is from Odynetika are is named Lily Lady Sakura. Here is my creation.

The card base is a pretty pink.  I found the Japanese arch under
coloring pages on bing.  The green DSP has gold dots.  I used
light pink card and a die of cherry blossoms I bought some
where.  For Lady Sakura, I colored the hair, skin and the
umbrella with my Castle Arts colored pencils.  I did a fabric
piecing.  Cut out the fabric piece after printing and adhered
heat and bond to the wrong side.  Then on a very low iron
(no steam) I applied it to Miss Sakura.  Happy spring is printed
on vellum.

I have used green dsp, another Japanese Arch and another Cherry
Blossom bunch.  The little saying is common for a spring time
card like this.

The back.

Here is the envelope.  Forgot to show this first.

This card is going to a very special person.  I hope she likes it.  So that's it from my neck of the woods.  I'll be back in a fortnight to give you inspiration to come join the fun!

So from my heart to yours,

Stay healthy, Stay safe and know you are blessed.

Penny's Challenge #573. Anything Goes

Hey everyone!  Short and sweet today.  Here are the sponsors.

What a joy it is to work with these sponsors.  Please go show some love and give them a thank you as well!

My project is from Paper Nest Dolls and it titled Birthday Owen.   Here is the final result.

I colored Owen with my Prismacolor Pencils and my Arteza
Pencils.  Did a print and cut.  The background papers are part
of the package that you get when ordering most items from
Paper Nest Dolls.  I will be using this paper a lot.  The cardstock
is embossed paper I got at Tuesday Morning.

The back.

I am sorry this is so short.  It's good weather in Oregon and I am outside completing projects I just didn't get done last fall.  So from my heart to yours,

Stay Healthy, Stay Safe and know that you are blessed.
