PENNY'S PAPER CRAFTY CHALLENGE #526

Welcome back for another great challenge at Penny's.  Of course all of our challenges are anything goes.  I have a new to me design to show off but first let me introduce you to our sponsors.

Prize~3 images of the winners choice

Prize~2 Single images of the winners choice

These two sponsors are fantastic!  If you haven't had a chance, GO CHECK THEM OUT!  Each has their own unique style.  Both are so generous in sponsoring challenges in the paper crafting community!  Go show some love friends.

Now on to my project.  This card design I found on the cover of one of my very old craft book (i collect them).  It is by Search Press and called Greetings Cards to make and treasure ©2009.  I have used an image from Pattie's Creations called Potted Spring Tulips.  This was a super image for this new to me card design.  Let's get started!

This card measures 3.5 by 10.  It is huge.  I didn't make an
envelope ( I will later/or hand deliver).  I have used Prismacolor
pencils to color the tulips and pots.  Yellow tulips equals gold
mirror card embossed/cut by my Gemini.  Background squares
are American Cardstock and the circles are scraps.  I have used
satin grey ribbon 3/8th inch to divide the card.  The final touch
is some jewels and shiny plastic flowers to which I added tiny
seed pearls with Art Glitter Glue (love that stuff).

Here is the top yellow tulip section

This is the middle pink tulip section

Finally this is the red tulip section

The finished card

This was a great card to make but next time I will make it as a slimline card and be able to make an envelope for it.

Well 'The Bob's' birthday is coming up soon and he will be 82.  He loves pumpkin pie and that is what he will get.  So I will be baking and making a special dinner for this weekend!

So until the next fortnight,

Stay Safe, Stay Healthy and know you are blessed!
