It's that time again. Time to create another creation from the amazing Simply Crafty SVG's Company! This month and next month I am making sympathy cards. Let me explain.
My daughter in law is a veterinarian. She works with other doctors in a clinic in Woodburn. Being a vet is a very rewarding job. But it does have some very serious and extremely depressing/upsetting aspects. An animal at end of life stage is one such situation. Besides dealing with a devastated owner, many times it is my DIL who gives the final cuddles and medication. I thought as a helpful gesture I would make some kitty and doggie sympathy cards that can be sent to the owner.
This month is the kitties and next month will be the doggies. If other animals are needed I am sure that Sandy and SCSVG's will be available.
So here is my creation. I will put stamps on each of the envelopes right before I give them to my DIL.
Here are the examples of male and female sympathy cards. |
For the male card and envelope I used scraps. |
Here are all 4 together. |
The inside is the same base paper and I just couldn't leave behind the great cut out kitty. So it went on the inside. I did not decorate the back. These are not my cards. |
Here are for the females. Think they are pink enough? These are also made from scrapes. (My kitty Emerald Forrest [Emmie] wanted to play with the toys while I took pics) |

They're really lovely, Jana! It's so thoughtful of you to make these for them! :o)
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful, because pets are family members and when they leave they leave a hole in our hearts. What a nice thing you did Jana!💎
